On Saturday, to avoid the usual crowds (1500 vehicles this year) Steve (in his Bronco's maiden voyage) guided us around the bottle necks and joined the "Official" route about half way in.  This is a much more relaxing way to do TDS, rather than join the "ant trail" of rigs on the "Official" route. 

We had 10 members and 6 guests attend this year.  Our group consisted of 9 motor homes and 1 tent. 

We did very well in the famous TDS raffle!  Jeff Hardin won a Rubicon Rack (how is he going to mount that on a Toyota Pickup?), Bob Andress won a welder, and Vince Martin won Fire Tub filled with 2 chairs, 2 $50 gift certificates, and an ARB 12 volt work light. 

On Sunday morning 6 rigs went out for a couple of hours as Fred led us up several canyons that only a Samurai could do without multi-point turns.  A great trip!
